My Experience: I started reading Why a Daughter Needs a Mom for my toddler’s bedtime on 5/6/2022 and we finished it that same night. We have since read it again a few times. A cute loving read. This book adores a daughter as much as could be. The illustrations are of different mother-daughter animals. They are so cute. My toddler loves looking at them. I love the reminder about looking at the funny side of things during those days when nothing seems to go as planned. Another favorite advice is that it’s okay to have different perspectives.

This book started with a daughter being born and the first time her mom held her. Her mom promised to do everything for her and to guide her to become the most wonderful version of herself. A list of all good qualities a girl should have, her mom will help her love herself. If there are troubles on her journey of growing up, her mom will help her stand up for herself. Anything her daughter aims to achieve, her mom will support. A rhyming read filled with advice, love, guidance, and support. Many good reminders to help motivate a daughter and for her to know that her mom loves her always.

Why a Daughter Needs a Mom was well written and illustrated. Definitely a book to read for both daughters and mom just to remind how much love is between a mom and a daughter. This book gives the positive encouragement vibes. Sometimes a mom is overworked and overloaded with everything that she takes it out on her daughter. Sometimes a daughter snaps at her mom when she doesn’t get what she wants. This book will bring them back together on the same page. There are good advices for both a mother and a daughter and that is to keep arguments rare, to cooperate and compromise. I recommend everyone to read this book!

I rate it 5 stars!
