Hi Everyone!
Hope you all had a wonderful Christmas break recently. This year my family and I celebrated Christmas in Florida. This time we stay in Jacksonville. I like walking around St. Johns Towne Center. This mall is big and there are a lot of buildings under-construction. It expands a lot and looks more busy and crowded than when I was there years ago. During this trip, I have the opportunity to visit St. Simon Island. It’s my first time there and it’s such a pretty place. A little chilly to travel there in December so you will see my many layers of clothes in the pictures below! I missed the outing to St. Augustine the next day but I don’t mind because I have been there before. During this 6 days Christmas travel, I struggle to read between The French Girl by Lexie Elliott and Two Girls Down by Louisa Luna. They are both great books! Though, I realize it’s hard to enjoy the read when I can only read snippets of it because my attention is being demanded elsewhere. While at the mall, I took a moment to browse through Barnes and Noble. It’s amazing to see books on display and recognize that I have read them as ARCs. It’s times like this that I appreciate so much the opportunity to read and review and to have access to books that are sold in retail stores before the general consumers. I’m proud to be a book blogger 🙂
How was your Christmas break? Can you read when you travel? My reading schedule is ruined every time I travelled, but travel in books is one thing, experiencing it all in real life is another thing and it shouldn’t be missed, at least a few times a year 🙂
xoxo,
Jasmine

Beautiful pictures, Jasmine! I too fail to find the time to read while traveling but I always try to make up for it when I get back 🙂 I hope you do the same!
And yeah, little things like getting inside a bookstore and finding old acquaintances of mine is what makes me proud to be a book blogger as well ❤
Happy holidays!

Looks like you had a truly terrific break. Beautiful pictures by the way, and of course before I forget: welcome back.
Reading while travelling can be done, especially in a train or at night in the hotel. But on the other hand there are also a lot of things to distract you from reading, so that’s usually the problem 😊

I always look forward to a break so I can have abundant of time to read, but it backfires because I also want to see the world haha.. how about you? Do you have any trouble when there’s a break?

Honestly : it depends on what I do. There are breaks that I’m at home and there is no problem whatsoever then. But when I really go and visit places: that’s where the trouble starts lol 😂😂
