March & April 2021 Wrap-Up #readingwrapup #monthlywrapup #bookworm #bookreview

Hi Everyone!

The months just come by and gone so quickly! Turns out I didn’t get a chance to do a wrap up for March as I planned so this month I will have both months. It will be a long list of books like I have always wanted. I always admire how others could read 10 or more books per month!

Here are books I have read & reviewed in March 2021: 10 books! But you know, it’s mostly picture books. I’m amazed just a little because reviewing kids books do take time too. I’ll be more amazed if I can read 10 regular books a month.

March was by far my best read & reviewed month. I was lucky because I loved reading all of them: Let Liberty Rise, A Psalm for the Wild-Built, Curls, Bad Nana, Bloom, The Love Square, Cars Signs and Porcupines, Pepper Page, Something’s Wrong, and Every Waking Hour! Please click on the links to read my detailed reviews.

In March, I saw a movie called The Giver and loved it so much that I watched it again. I need to read the book soon.

I participated in some virtual chats with publishers and authors. Not as many as I would have liked. It was fun. I participated in a book’s release by posting daily for a week, doing different activities for the book. I’m mostly active on my Instagram account so come follow me and I will follow you back @howusefulitis

Here are my April 2021 reads and reviews. 7 books! One nonfiction book I started reading since last year. It’s hard reading nonfiction books, in my case.

This April I also enjoyed all of the books that I read: Find You First, Last Gate of the Emperor, Only My Dog Knows I Pick My Nose, Central Park, The Maidens, Gay Bar, and Animal Watching. In no particular order, same as in March.

April I spent some time decorating my book pictures for Instagram. I’m always amazed at some bookstagrammer’s photos. I don’t think I’m creative enough but I’m trying. I probably need to purchase a fancy camera and a fancy photo editing app but for now, I’m just sticking to the basics, my iPhone.

My blog is free, which means free space is nearly getting full. I need to upgrade but I’m nervous about it because I don’t know the process. I need to do it in May or June but definitely soon. If you have experience, do let me know!

May is here and I have spent the first day celebrating my birthday with family and friends. The second day I was out and about shopping. Many stores has good family & friends sales. I also went to receive my second covid shot. Hopefully May 3rd I can just sit down and read!

I do recommend all of the books I have read and reviewed in March and April. See you in May!

xoxo,

Jasmine

If you are upgrading in wordpress.com plan then you don’t need to worry about anything. Just pay the bill and rest will be taken care and claim the domain after you have bought the plan. If you are switching to WordPress.org (self hosted site) that’s whole new thing and lots of things to do which takes time.
