October 2019 Wrap-Up #readingwrapup #bookreview #bookworm

Hi Everyone!

Hope your October went well. Regarding the book world, my October went great. I have read and reviewed 8 books! Though, to be honest, I just couldn’t find any interest in The Furies and so I skimmed through a lot. I also DNF’ed Dark and Deepest Red which I felt terrible but I just couldn’t pay attention to what I’m reading because it didn’t hooked me. See below for links to my review!

Unintentionally I have been updating about me being a new mom and so regarding that, it’s been hard. My daughter is now 3 months old. I think I finally figured out a feeding position that she will drink milk without screaming. After changing different formulas and bottles, now a new position has been working. I also continue to drink Mother’s Milk Tea to help increase lactation but I don’t think it helps me as much as other moms.

One Night Gone by Tara Laskowski. I rated 5 stars!

The Furies by Katie Lowe. I rated 3 stars!

Where the World Ends by Geraldine McCaughrean. I rated 5 stars!

The Nanny by Gilly Macmillan. I rated 4 stars!

Songs from the Deep by Kelly Powell. I rated 4 stars! (I read this book for a blog tour and will post my review up on 11/4/19)

Winter in Paradise by Elin Hilderbrand. I rated 5 stars!

What Happens in Paradise by Elin Hilderbrand. I rated 5 stars!

Dark and Deepest Red by Anna-Marie McLemore. I DNF’ed.

This month I have another awesome bookmail! A Halloween package from Penguin Young Readers. I was invited to do a Halloween blog tour. Here’s my post!

I also gathered another 10 YA debut that I have read and reviewed. Check it out Here.

Happy Reading everyone! I hope you all have a great November! I have read and reviewed 64 books out of my 100 reading challenge. Two months left, I fear I will not meet it.

xoxo,

Jasmine

Thanks Lydia 😊 Looking after a baby is definitely a lot of work. Good thing baby sleeps so I can have some “me” time 😂 Have you read other books by this author? When the Moon was Ours seems popular.
