Hi Everyone! I hope you all have a wonderful reading adventures in 2017. I know I have! 🙂
I have read 32,396 pages and 152 books. I have reviewed them all (short & long reviews) on Goodreads. On my blog, of the total, I have fully reviewed 121 books. The reason for some reviews to be on Goodreads but not on my blog are books that I read for my son that I downloaded for free from Amazon and kids books borrowed from the library. I also re-read a few kids’ books and Goodreads count it as one additional book I read. I only give media to books requested for reviews by publishers, authors, or ARCs I requested and others I owned or from library. I have beaten my reading challenge! My 2017 reading challenge was for 100 books. (The total at the bottom adds up to 119 and I know one book, The Night Circus – I read two times and wrote two different reviews).
Shortest Book I Read: The Anger Volcano consists of 23 pages (Amazon freebies)
Longest Book I Read: A Conjuring of Light consists of 624 pages (I owned)
Most Popular Book I Read: Harry Potter and the Sorcerer’s Stone (I owned)
Least Popular Book I Read: The Little Copper Penny (provided by publisher)
My average rating for 152 books: 4.7 stars (the secret? many kids books are excellent reads! and I’m lucky for liking many books I read!)
Below are books I read and review on my blog. You may find many of my reviews for them on Edelweiss, NetGalley, Goodreads, Amazon, Barnes and Noble, Books-a-Million, Twitter, and Instagram. Harry Potter is a re-read. I will continue my re-read of the series in 2018, starting book 3.
Fantasy: 31 books
Contemporary: 19 books
Thriller: 26 books
Picture Books/Middle Grade/Workbook: 35 books
Memoir: 3 books
Self-Help: 1 book
Women’s Fiction: 3 books
Graphic Novel: 1 book
I love looking at wrap-ups!! I am overwhelm right now how I could read and reviewed so many books in one year 🙂 A quick way to find my reviews for these books, please go to Reviews by Title at the top list of categories. Happy reading everyone and I wish you all a successful reading in 2018!
Join my book tag if you haven’t already. I created this tag with Namitha @ Teen Memoir: The High School Book Tag
I hosted 4 blog tours in 2017, all were invited by different publishers.
I hosted 5 giveaways in 2017, 3 of which were sponsored by Penguin and the other two were my own.
Thank you fellow book bloggers for nominating me to many awards and tagging me to many different tags. I wanted to read many books in 2017 and I’m still behind in this area. I appreciate you thinking of me.
***Disclaimer: My book blog is a hobby. I really appreciate publishers and authors for the opportunity to read and review. I appreciate having access to advanced reader’s copies to many books. I don’t get paid for reading and reviewing, but I enjoy doing it and I hope my reviews will help readers as well as authors and publishers with their individual goals. I’m a happy book blogger.
xoxo,
Jasmine
