The High School Book Tag [Original]

Hi Everyone!

Hope you all are doing well after celebrating Mother’s Day over the weekend! Namitha @ Teen Memoir and I buddy read on A Darker Shade of Magic (Review HERE) and we got along so well that we decided to create a fun book tag together. I love the questions we came up with and I have fun answering them. I hope you all will enjoy the tag as well. Feel free to do it as often as you would like. Please don’t forget to tag us when you do the tag because we are excited to know what your answers are! 🙂

The Rules:

  • Thank the creators: Namitha @ TeenMemoir and Jasmine @ HowUsefulItIs
  • Answer the questions.
  • Add pictures! (If you want to)
  • Tag (about) 5 people.

A+ on the test: A book or character that makes you smile?

Adam from A List of Cages. His happiness is contagious! My Review

Sports team: A fictional family that you want to be a part of?

The Facebook Trivia Simon and his family plays! So fun and such a great family dynamic. I love to be a part of that family! My Review

Class President: A book that tries to make a difference?

This book brings awareness to police shooting unarmed victims and not to judge a person by the way they look. My Review

High School Sweetheart: A book character you have a crush on?

Elias. Smart yet humble. Train to be ruthless, but silently a good person who wants to do a good thing. My Review

Prom Night: A book with a beautiful cover?

I love The Night Circus’ cover. The world is described beautifully as well. My Review

Spring Break: A book you can always turn to when you need an escape?

Despite the controversy behind who truly wrote this book, it is super cute to read and I do love the storyline. My Review

School Lunch: A book character(s) you want to have lunch with?

I would love to have lunch with The Gang. My Review

Halloween Party: A character you would like to be for one day?

I want to be Tessa because I will get to hang out with Will and Jem and they are too awesome to avoid! My Review

School Bully: A villain you don’t want to go to school with?

The Commandant. She’s so wicked and I’m really afraid of her. My Review

Graduation: A book with a bittersweet conclusion?

I love this series! I am inclined to read it again! My Review

I haven’t read most of these books but I started Girl Online. I personally didn’t like it! But I think that had a lot to do with the fact I was listening to it. And it was one of my first audiobooks.

You’re right.. reading on your own might be better.. I haven’t gotten into audiobook yet. I tried listening to A Murder in Time last week and after 30 min, I feel so sleepy and I’m not sure how much info I retained 🙂

I recommend doing something that you can do subconsciously while listening. Like coloring, playing the game Flow, etc. easy things. I have to be doing something or I lose interest. I also highly recommend the Harry Potter books on audio. Jim Dale (I think that’s the narrator) is amazing. If it seems to be going slow, speed it up a bit. But don’t do it too fast. I’ve gotten to a point where I can work (I’m an overnight stocker at Walmart) while listening to them. Audiobooks aren’t for everyone but I love having them. I just finished Library of Souls (😒) last night at work so I’m going to start City of Bones tonight ❤️

Awww this is such a cute tag, Jasmine!! I loved reading your answers for it too. I actually just read Simon vs a few days ago and completely agree with you on wanting to be a part of his family. His family is awesome! And The Night Circus’s cover is so gorgeous. Also, having lunch with the Six of Crows gang would be interesting. It could either go really well or really wrong and you could end up in the middle of a giant heist. 😂 Thanks so much for the tag!!

Your comment is too awesome about Six of Crows.. hahaha… I love it!! That facebook game from Simon vs.. I wonder if anyone else play that or if the author’s family play that.. how did she even come up with that idea? I never thought of that.. 🙂

Awesome tag and amazing answers! Adam from A List of Cages is a wonderful character. I couldn’t stop smiling whenever he was on the page! I absolutely adore the cover of The Night Circus too! It’s so gorgeous. And who wouldn’t want to hang out with the Dregs. Great choices! 😀

This is so cool! Great tag Jasmine! I agree with all of your answers. The Commandant is one nasty villain. And oh my gosh having lunch with the Six of Crows gang would be great except they’d rob me dry 😂.

I haven’t do a tag in awhile and I’m a bit rusty. I just updated an introduction to this post. Yes, this tag just born today haha. Namitha and I buddy read for A Darker Shade of Magic and we got along well. She asks if we could do a tag together. So after bouncing around ideas back and forth for a week, we came up with this tag. Doing a tag with another blogger is recommended, after all, 2 minds are better than one hehehe..
