April 2017 Wrap-Up

Hi Everyone! It’s time to wrap the month up again. It’s so fast and this month, I am behind on writing 3 reviews. Actually, I am behind on a lot of things. I hope you will bear with me. I am behind on visiting your blog and commenting. I am behind on tags and awards. I am behind on snapchat. I wish to know how to make those mini clips with the dog face but haven’t been able to figure it out yet. So if anyone know, do share! haha.. But, I don’t want to be Debbie Downer, so it’s best to celebrate achievements instead of failures!

My April reading is very diverse and I’m liking it. I’m trying to venture out to different books. I love reading YA contemporary, fantasy & thrillers. The hardest reading this month was the memoir. I wanted to know more about wine and the book has some amazing facts but it’s still a tough read. The self-help book is actually an easy read! I really enjoyed it because the author is a comedian and he writes it with humor. My favorite advice from him, “Everyone makes mistakes and you shouldn’t be supershitty to people because of it.” I am learning to deal with it both ways, making the mistake and forgiving myself and forgiving others for their mistakes. I also love the Children’s Books for my son. I’m trying hard to share some of my time for him even though I personally want to get lost into my stories haha.. I do have a higher appreciation for Children’s Picture Books. The stories taught us something and the illustrations are a plus!

I know what you mean about being behind on everything. That is me right now. I took a few days break from blogging and come back and am now so behind. 😣 There just needs to be more time for all of us to get caught up lol. Either way, it looks like you have a fantastic reading month Jasmine! Lots of great reads. I so need to read THUG already, I feel like I’m the only one who hasn’t. 🙈 Hopefully soon! Haha, no worries: I know exactly how you feel. I am running behind on quite a few things myself as well. Time is always a factor, and unfortunately you only have 24 hours in a day (although it sometimes feels like less lol 😂). That is a lot of books that you have read in april. Very cool, and like the diversity of them all.
Goodluck on catching up on things, and as I said earlier, don’t worry, I am sure I speak for most of the people that follow you that we all don’t mind waiting, as your posts are always very cool 😊Some things are just worth the wait 😀
