March 2017 Wrap-Up

Hi Everyone! Happy end of March and Welcome to April! I’m super happy for Spring! It’s my most favorite season. I like seeing new flowers, green grass, and little sprigs of leaves on the trees. Birds chirping to wake me up in the morning and sunshine are the best!

Here is my March reading and reviewing all wrapped up in a bow. Kids books dominate my time this month. My 5 year old son loves stories and he’s still in the process of learning how to read. I thought I would include them on my blog while I have the chance. In the future, he will be older and he may not need me to read for him anymore. I also love reading kids books because the illustrations are too awesome! Some kids books are full of knowledge, I just couldn’t pass it up. If you have kids in your life, I hope my reviews help you deciding what to gift kids besides toys. I also like to busy my boy with workbooks because they are great learning tools to improve their minds and keep them busy. I like keeping them busy with workbooks and reading materials more than video games or TV.

These books have been read and reviewed in the same month. Please click on the link to find my reviews if you need. I hope you all had as good of a reading month as I.

Yeah, I’ve been drawing in a manga/cartoony style for about 10 years, but now I’ve been working and doing this blog I just haven’t had time to keep practicing. I used to always want to have a job using my art, but I’m really not that good, haha! I can always dream though~

Drawing for 10 years, that’s really great actually! You’re probably being modest 😊 I hope you get a chance to get back into it. Graphic novels is popular now so that drawing skills is in demand! 😍

Congratulations Jasmine. It seems like your March was wonderful. I love how you include both yours and your child’s book in the blog reviews. When your son grows up, maybe he can become a co/guest blogger on your blog:-)

    Have a wonderful April!

Looks like you had a fantastic reading month, Jasmine! There’s a nice mixture between YA and Children’s books. I think it’s awesome that you read them to your son and then review them. I hope you have a great April and that it’s full of great books too! 😊♥

Thank you Melissa! Sometimes I do wish to have all the time to read books I want 😂 but after reviewing a children’s book, I do feel happy to have introduced a kid a good book 😊 so I just have to work harder at balancing the time so I can get to read books I like too haha Do you read Juvenile fiction? That Lego book is it and it’s actually fun to read. Great humor 😊

My reading is productive but my house cleaning is not hahaha… I am exploring many genres, just not horror and erotica and I’m liking them all so far 🙂 Which genre do you read most?

Haha same! My bookshelves are pretty much the only clean thing at my house 😂

I’m a huge fantasy nerd! But I’m trying to break out into some thrillers and some more contemporary fiction

Some of them I’ve liked a lot!! But, because I’ve been such a fantasy addict my whole life, other books can come off as a bit dull in comparison.

How about you? Any of the new genres really catching your eye?

YA Contemporaries. They are so relatable!! I like this one quote “we read so that we know we are not alone.” I feel exactly that when I read contemporary and it just makes me feel relieved 😂 I also prefer it with humor & witty chat instead of the deep serous that makes me cry and heartache hehe

Wow you have read a lot of books this month. Wish I could say the same. Lately I have been having a little bit less time than usual, so I am running behind on books. But hopefully in april I can catch up on some things. I really liked your review for the Crane Girl and that book’s art is so incredible. Looking forward to your coming reviews. It is always a pleasure to read them 😊
