February 2017 Wrap-Up

Hi Everyone! It’s time to wrap up February! This month I read and reviewed 11 books (5 kids books and 6 regular). I am so happy and blessed to have read many great books! As you can see my numerous 5 stars below! 🙂 Please follow the link to read my reviews.

Toward the end of this month I have developed some health issues (Vertigo and others). I wonder if it’s related to reading on the iPhone even though my doctor said it’s not. I thought to take a break from reading but I feel empty without it. I may read less next month and rest more. No promise if I can stick to the plan..

1) Sashi and the Puppy Mill Girl  by Linda Greiner. I rated it 5 stars!

This month I have trouble reading The Bone Witch by Rin Chupeco. I saw many DNFs on Goodreads so there’s no motivation to read further. How was your February? I hope it’s good!!

xoxo,
Jasmine

Wow, great job Jasmine! Eleven books is a lot! Congrats 🙂
I’m sorry about your health issues… I hope you’re doing better! Are you taking any medication for it? I don’t think reading on your phone vs reading a paperback would make much of a difference but you never know. Maybe test it out for a while and see if you’ve improved. If not, then it’s probably unrelated and you can at least try getting into reading again.
    Get well soon! ❤

I am sorry to hear about your health problems.
I hope you are fine now? Or at least that soon you will be.

I don’t know if reading books on phone can cause vertingo, but I wouldn’t be surprised if it effects eyes.
e-ink screen is way better for eyes.

I have since read more on the iPad since the screen is bigger. I did asked a doctor about it and he says it should irritate the eyes, not the head. He thinks my Vertigo is caused from me being sick with runny nose in the past months. I’m feeling little better by little now.. just have to be patient and wait it out. Thank you for your well wishes Irena! 🙂

You had an awesome reading month!! I only managed to read 4 books haha
The Upside of Unrequited seems really interesting, I’ve seen so many people talk about it 😀

Thanks Jackie! Vertigo is nasty.. I’m seeing a specialist for it but it’s still there.. only time will tell I guess.. Too many readers on Goodreads said The Bone Witch is not good, so I am undecided about picking it back up. Do you plan to read? Do you have the ARC? It’s on NetGalley.

Oh no about the health issues! I hope you get to feeling better soon, Jasmine! 💕
All things aside it looks like you have a fantastic reading month. I didn’t read nearly as many books as you but I had a pretty great one because I spent the month rereading my favorite series. I hope you have a great March! 😊

Thank you for your well wishes 🙂 Re-reading is great too 🙂 just too bad can’t write any reviews haha.. I am too eager to read and review new books that I don’t re-read often. I am excited to discover new books to add to the re-read shelf though 🙂 I hope you will have a good reading month in March as well! 🙂
