Hi Everyone!
I have decided to make this post because I thought books I love deserved a bit of attention. You may think it’s too late to make this post, but hey, it’s still January!
Here are books I rated 5 stars when I read them in the year of 2016. The published date may varies, but you can click on the link to read my reviews and learn about the publishing date there. My favorites are in the order of my reading date and these are books I would want to read again in the future!
How to Win Friends & Influence People (Self-Help)
Aristotle and Dante Discovered the Secrets of the Universe
I actually liked Six of Crows too but I didn’t rate it 5 stars. I may read it again. I also love the Lunar Chronicles but I read those in 2015 and many books before blogging. When time permit, I will read them again and review them on here.
Children’s Books:
The Hungriest Mouth in the Sea
Have you read any of these books and did you rated them 5 stars too?
xoxo,
Jasmine
I’ve read Winter, THG, The Winner’s Crime, Disruption, and I think that’s all of them.

You had some awesome reads last year! 😀 I’ve also read (and enjoyed) The Girl on The Train but I think I gave it 4 stars, it didn’t reach my expectations and with people saying only good things about it, I expected a little bit more.
I’m so excited to start The Lunar Chronicles ❤

Were you able to guess what happened with The Girl on the Train? I couldn’t guess so that’s why I liked it more.. haha.. Read the novella from the Lunar Chronicles too because it’s really good. I liked Fairest. I have yet to read Stars Above.

I think that I had two theories at the time, and one of them ended up happening, so yeah, I did haha Also, a few weeks after I couldn’t remember a lot of the plot, so I guess it wasn’t very memorable for me 😦
They’re both on my birthday wishlist, so there’s a high chance of me getting them soon. I’m not sure if I should marathon everything or add other books between haha I hope you enjoy Stars Above when you get it ^^

Ohh, it’s great to see How To Win Friends and Influence People on your list, I’m reading it atm actually. Really good so far!
And it’s also great to see The Winner’s Kiss here too. 🙂
Some books I have yet to read, and some I plan to soon, so yeah.
But all of them look pretty appealing! 🙂

I do really like Dale Carnegie’s book. The stories he told in there, it’s easy to read and sounds really interesting. I’m glad you like it too 🙂

You definitely read some great books last year! I have yet to read Winter but I’ve heard nothing but goo things about it. And I loved Girl on the Train, too! Humger Games is a wonderful book. I’m so happy you love it, too! And An Ember in the Ashes was definitely one of my favorite reads last year, as well 🙂 Great list, Jasmine!

This is an impressive list! The Lunar Chronicles and Aristotle and Dante are some of my favorites, as well! I read Gilded Cage (my review will be posted on release day), but I wasn’t sold on it yet. I look forward to reading the second book. Hunted and A List of Cages are both on my TBR short list– I can’t wait to read them!

Aww.. that’s too bad you didn’t love Gilded Cage. Maybe book 2 will be better for you. I hope you will enjoy the other 2 books as much as I did 😊

I bet book two of Gilded Cage will make more sense. I was just confused about so many perspectives and where things were going. I want to know more, but the cliff hanger wasn’t that suspenseful for me. I am looking forward to reading them all. 🙂

I’m most curious about Silyen because he demonstrates so much power but there isn’t much info about him and what he’s planning.

Exactly! He is the most intriguing…

I still need to read Gilded Cage! And anxious to get my hands on A List of Cages! Happy to hear both of those were five stars for you! I wish you more five star reads in 2017!! 🙂

Great books! Well I didn’t rate Gilded cage 5 stars but I can see why you did 😉
Hope this year will be just as great 😉

Thanks! I don’t really relate myself to any characters in Gilded Cage but the characters are well developed and I thought it was interesting to read. I also like the plot. Too bad you and alwaysbooking didn’t enjoy the read as much as me. At least you had a good time buddy reading with her though 😊

We did 🙂 I guess we rated it 4 stars because the characters weren’t really emotional. But it was really interesting 😀

I read all 3 books of Hunger Games but only liked book 1. I have yet to read book 2 & 3 from Zoella. Did you finished Zoella’s series?

Hmmm, I’m not sure which one I liked best but I remember crying through the last chapters of Mockingjay at 3 am during a school night, I think it had something to do with that :P. No I haven’t finished the zoella series, I have yet to read the last installment!
