I have been waiting until I read more books to do tags so that my answer will not repeat so much 🙂 Thank you both for tagging me! Do you use the star rating system?

YES. I avoid writing reviews for books that are rated less than 3 stars. I don’t feel comfortable to complain too much 🙂

What book do you plan on reading next?

I will be Buddy Reading this book with Stephanie @ TeacherofYA! We were supposed to read it in October but our library books demanded our attention so we had to delay it.

Are you doing the 2016 reading challenge?

Yes. I am at 80 out of 100 and 50% of it being children’s books. I read for my son so I thought might as well rate and review hehehe..

What book do you plan on buying next?

I need to complete my Lunar Chronicles and The Mortal Instrument collection.

Do you have a wish list?

Yes. The Midnight Star, Heartless, Nevernight, A Torch Against the Night, Crooked Kingdom, and so many!

JK Rowling, Marie Kutkoski, Marissa Meyer, Sabaa Tahir, etc

Have you joined any groups?

No, I haven’t. I do want to join Hype or Like Friday but I’m just very low on spare time. Hopefully I will be able to in the future. 🙂

    Are you far in Gilded Cage? I am lagging behind…an author friend (Tenille Berezay) emailed me and said her book is doing a blog tour, and she was hoping I could review her book by the 14th (see what comes up?). It’s a book she already gave me to read but I didn’t know she had a date in mind for me to finish by…
    Let me know how goes it. If you’re really far, I may have to drop out of this one. If not, then maybe we can raincheck for next weekend…? I really want to do a buddy read with you!! But then life gets in the way!

        Oh, that’s perfect! I’m outta school then!
        Let’s do Wintersong! And from now on, I promise (since I’m almost done with school) I will be the best book buddy EVER!!
        December 9: Wintersong! Adding it to the calendar. Nothing else is going to get in my way!
        Are you going to post your review for Gilded Cage or wait until the release date? I’m never sure what I’m supposed to do with that…
        Oh, and I got my book mail! Will be posting it tomorrow! I’m sure yours will be coming soon! Donna is great. 🙌

          I received 2 books today! Both signed! Thank you so SO much Stephanie! 💕 I have buddy read scheduled for every week this month up to Dec 16.. Hehe I’m liking buddy reads. I save Dec 9 for Wintersong with you & Jill but she hasn’t responded yet. I see many other bloggers already posted up gilded cage reviews so I will too. If I can’t meet deadlines for other books, it’s okay to be early at least one book. 😊

            I’m so glad you got the books, and signed too! Me too! She is so awesome! I feel bad for Sammi bc she wanted a copy too but she is in AUS and she can’t ship over there.
            But I’m so happy you got the copies! These are my first physical ARCs from someone other than an indie author. It’s such a cool feeling, isn’t it?
            I’m so happy for us!

              You & me for Wintersong! I will write it down. This is my first ever signed physical ARC or even first ever signed book! I was reading before blog but not extreme where I would get excited with autograph, but I am now! She wrote to Jasmine & enjoy on the book too, which is awesome! 😍 No one else request her books? Just me & you?

                Nope…well, Sammi did but she can’t send it to AUS, and I have a lot of friends that are out of the country…I think ppl were too shy to email her directly tbh. It’s a shame. I’m glad she personalized it! She did for me too. 😊

    Thanks for the tag, Jasmine! Your wish list is looking good! And I’m so glad you liked Six of Crows. That book has my heart. Can’t wait to see what you think of Crooked Kingdom. And I love any Dr. Seuss quote, so great pick! Gilded Cage looks so interesting. I LOVE the cover. And good luck with your reading challenge! I’m amazed you’ve already read 80 books! 😀

      I’m guessing you already read crooked kingdom? Gilded Cage should still be available on NetGalley if you are interested to request the ARC. Thanks, but I also included about 50% of kids books that I read for my son 😃 otherwise I have only read about 40 books this year.

    I love this tag. It’s a great one! It also makes me feel good to know I’m not the only person who loves to complete book collections. I am a big fan of buying the books as I want to read them, so I buy them one at a time to slowly build my collection. It’s wonderful. Good luck with your collections, Jasmine!

    Ohh, goodreads groups are the best part of goodreads! And having friends who discuss books with you. At least that’s the case for me.
    I would never be a book blogger if it wasn’t for my goodreads group bc so many members there were blogging at time.
    And they helped me with their advices when it comes to creating and designing blog.

    Oh, I still have to read your favorite author Marrisa Meyer. Heartless will be my first read by her.

      I think all writers love to hear feedbacks on their books and if you read it, might as well inform them 😊I believe they create an account on goodreads because they want their books known. I don’t do a blog post on those books though. Just a short rate & review on goodreads 😊
