Great Smoky Mountain National Park in North Carolina

Hi Everyone! This past week 10/23/16 through 10/27/16, I was fortunate to have the opportunity to vacationed at the Great Smoky Mountain National Park in Bryson City, North Carolina with my family. There were 7 of us and we rented a cabin up in the mountain. We visited hiking trails in Bryson City, downtown of Asheville, Blue Ridge Parkway, Cherokee, Camping Grounds, Clingman’s Dome Observation Deck, and stopped at many observation points along the drive around the mountain. We also experienced the Nantahala Gorge scenic 4 hours train ride through the mountain. It was an awesome nature experience. I have a new appreciation for national parks. It’s beautiful! Here are a few pictures out of hundreds I took hahaha..

The Corn Maze at Grandad’s Apples Orchard. I like walking through it.

At the campground to visit a friend with a huge camper. My first time to tour it. It looks like a house inside with living room and king size bed with washer/dryer! So peaceful at camp ground!

I love LOVE foliage! I could lay on the ground and watch this tree all day!

At Clingman’s Dome. Hiked 1.5 miles up to see the view!

At Clingman’s Dome! We made it to the top! (I was out of breath of course haha)

I LOVE the creeks! There were so many along the hiking trails!

I brought Six of Crows to read during the trip but didn’t read much. Hiking and sightseeing during the day and sleep at night. I get motion sickness if I read in the car, so only got 25% of the book done in that entire week. There were so much to see, I couldn’t keep my eyes glue on the book 🙂

xoxo,
Jasmine

Gorgeous pictures in a wonderful post!! I can’t read in the car either without wanting to puke my guts out. That’s why I’ve switched to audiobooks so I can read while traveling 🙂
