Happy Monday Everyone! Today, I am happy to announce that I have been nominated by Poppy @ Poppy’s Best of Books for the Entertainer Blogger Award! Thanks Poppy for finding me and nominating me, even though I don’t think we followed each other. August is the month of awards for me and I am so happy to have the chance to nominate you all for following me back! I love that we can support each other’s blog and encourage each other to read more!
The Rules
- Thank the person who nominated you and provide a link to their blog.
- Add these rules to your post.
- Answer all the questions below.
- Display the award picture in your post.
- Nominate 12 other bloggers who are funny, inspiring and most important of all ENTERTAINING!
The Questions
Q1. Why did you start a blog in the first place?
To keep track of my reading. I have read many good books in the past, but now I could not remember the titles or the authors. The blog and the reviews helps me to recall the books that I love. Also, I learn of so many great books to read through other bloggers and I don’t think I will ever stop blogging.
Q2. What is your favourite book?
Aristotle and Dante Discover the Secrets of the Universe. It’s my most recent read and a book that can both make me laugh and cry is definitely a good book. There are series that I am interested to read again: The Lunar Chronicles, Harry Potter, Twilight, etc.
Q3. What do you dislike the most?
People being unfair. I know.. Life’s unfair.. haha..
Q4. What is your favourite food item from the mall?
Annie’s Almonds Pretzels
Q5. What is your favourite pastime?
Besides reading and blogging, I like to sightsee. I like to visit different places, local and far. I prefer botanical gardens over museums, but both are good. I am amazed at both.

I love Annie’s Pretzels in the mall! So good. Not a fan of almonds, though. Loved reading your answers! Thanks for nominating me. Took me a while to get around to posting it, but that’s what I’m going to do right now. 🙂

Thank you for the nomination Jasmine! And congratulations for winning so many awards! I started my blog for the same reason, so I can look back at all the books I read and remember my thoughts. I also love sightseeing but I tend to be holed up at my house so I don’t usually do it much.

Thanks 😊 How long ago did you started your blog? Do you know how many books you read per year?

I started in March 2014 but I didn’t start posting frequently until last year. I update Goodreads regularly and I log all the books I read on there but I don’t remember on the top of my head (and I’m too lazy to go and check 😀 ).

A lot of people are quick to insult Twilight and people who liked it (as if we are dumb), it annoys me, cause it was such a great read, you all are just judgmental bigots! Thanks for the tag love.

I have it in my collection too. I recently found a bonus book called The Short Second Life of Bree Tanner. I had no idea of that book. Have you read it yet?

Yes, and the half written story from Edward’s point of view, I had all the books, but like most of my book collections, people came and took them, it’s depressing when I think about my past book library.

Do you mean people borrowed your books and don’t return?

Yes, misplace it or take it without permission when I’m away at school

Then my little sister steals them somehow, I’m not buying hard-copy books anymore, I get like 3 or less a year now, strictly e-books, plus it’s easier and costs less.

And the best thing is, we’ll never run out of books to read! So keep on reading & reviewing 😊 How was your first estate sale trip with your mom this past weekend? Found any gems? 😊
