About: The 100 is a fiction novel written by Kass Morgan. The genre are Sci Fi & Fantasy, Teens, and Young Adult. The 100 is the first novel that was published on 9/3/13 by Hachette Book Group. Kass Morgan has also written a sequel called 21 Days which will be published on 9/16/14 and is next on my reading list.

My Experiences: I started reading The 100 on 9/11/14 and finished it on 9/14/14. Before reading this novel, I was excited to learn from other reviewers on Goodreads that there’s a CW TV Network series based on this novel. I thought the book must be really good to have made it on tv as a series. The book is absolutely awesome and I would highly recommend to anyone. After reading the first few chapters, I went on google to research about the tv series. I was and am disappointed that the first season has came and gone without my knowledge. The author writes this story very well. I got so absorbed in the book and couldn’t put it down. I have not enjoy a good read since Harry Potter. I like how developed the story is. Each character has so much personalities with strengths & weaknesses and the story keeps readers on the edge of wanting more.

Update: Season 1 of The 100 has recently been added onto Netflix. I spent Saturday night and Sunday night 11/1/14 – 11/2/14 to completely enjoy the whole season’s worth of episodes. It’s pretty awesome. I like the show.

Pros: page turner, adventurous, heart pumping, mind racing, emotions rising

Cons: none

I rate it 5 stars!
