When out shopping, always take a moment to look for what your garment is made of. 100% pure silk is the most luxury a fabric can get. We all love luxury don’t we? It feels wonderful against our skin. The silky, smooth, soft, comfortable, elegant, sophisticated, etc are just about summarize it up of how fabulous silk is to wear it.

Silk is expensive but so are brand names. Brand names often goes hand in hand with silk. If you shop at Forever 21 or H&M, although their brand is popular and very well-known, they do not carry clothes that are made of 100% silk. If you shop at Saks Fifth Ave or Nordstrom, brands like Jones New York Signature, Diane von Furstenberg, Eileen Fisher, Kate Spade, and many more will often made of 100% silk and they often come with a big price tag. However, stores are always offer sales and promotions, you can always snatch yourself some silk pieces.
I was planning on writing about the history of silk, but that will make this post extremely long to read. I like to read blog posts with 2 to 3 paragraphs, don’t you? Do you like to wear silk?
